Formedix Technical Business and Standards Director, Kevin Burges has been invited to present at this year’s Europe Interchange as part of a program of distinguished speakers including Wayne Kubick and Rebecca Kush, both industry-renowned members of CDISC. Kevin has had a core focus on CDISC since 2000, so is the ideal candidate to discuss the benefits of using CDISC standards.
His presentation will look at ‘Breaking free from XPT files with CDISC Dataset-XML’ and the possibilities the standard holds for the future of the clinical trial process. He will discuss how to use Dataset-XML to transport any dataset for submission, as well as how the standard enables a whole new generation of tools that process data in intelligent ways. This presentation comes as a result of the announcement earlier in 2014 of the draft release of the standard for public comment. In 2009, Kevin was one of the founding members of the CDISC XML Technologies Governance team - read more from Kevin’s recent blog discussing the latest CDISC release.
