Built utilizing Symfony front-end and Drupal CMS back-end, http://www.nationalguard.com is agile and fully responsive, scaling smoothly to fit any size screen from mobile to desktop. The new site leverages geo-targeted content, allowing for pinpointed initiatives in support of future precision efforts. It is also the primary means by which the Army National Guard quantitatively tracks marketing and advertising return on investment.

Although all military branches use a website as the central piece of recruitment efforts, the Army Guard has taken a dramatically different approach in their messaging and brand positioning. The new site has a positive voice, speaking through aspiration and promise grounded in a creative approach that centers on authenticity.

The site offers tangible returns for visitors such as the mobile-friendly pay calculator that estimates how much money they can expect by various career choices. Additionally, visitors can sign up for the Army National Guard email, which uses insightful, triggered email marketing to customize with each send based on the visitors’ click behavior.
