Today, Leesa Clark Price, Executive Director of the Responsibility Foundation, announced the studio unveiling of the six foot architectural version of the “Statue of Responsibility” will be held today, Thursday, April 3rd at 7:00 pm at the Gary Lee Price Studios at 1856 W Alvey Drive, Mapleton, UT 84664. (Public are welcome.) Locally-based world-renowned sculptor Gary Lee Price is the artist commissioned to create the “Statue of Responsibility” which will stand as a reminder that Liberty + Responsibility = Freedom.

The “Statue of Responsibility” is the creation of Viktor Frankl's vision as described in his book Man’s Search for Meaning. Dr. Frankl envisioned the Statue of Responsibility standing on the West Coast (city to be determined soon) as a bookend to the Statue of Liberty on the East Coast. Dr. Frankl’s vision is a reminder to America and the world that we are all connected and with that great liberty, comes great responsibility. Gary Lee Price, the nationally respected sculptor, is the commissioned artist who will create this 300’ icon which will stand as a reminder that Liberty + Responsibility = Freedom.

The Responsibility Foundation is headed by Executive Director, Leesa Clark Price, whose husband Gary Lee Price, designed and owns the rights to the Statue of Responsibility. A new national board of directors, including nationally prominent and highly respected members of the community raising the necessary funding to establishing a “permanent home” for this truly amazing “iconic art piece, which will have an “international presence of powerful meaning and trust” for millions worldwide.
