BRIDGE Energy Group, a leading consulting and systems integration company that transforms utility operational performance, today announced that the company has been selected to provide its leadership and expertise in grid reliability and outage communications. In addressing the issue of engaging utility customers during difficult events, Forrest Small, VP of Grid Optimization, will be presenting at EUCI’s Outage Communications conference during the panel discussion on “The Future of Outage Communications.”

The EUCI Outage Communications event will be held on April 8-9 in Irwindale, California. This conference will feature case studies from many of the top performing North American utilities, as ranked by J.D. Powers, alongside industry professionals from leading utility partners including BRIDGE Energy Group. The panel, comprised of utilities including Southern California Edison (SCE) and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), will address topics including Smart Grid, preference management, social media and mobile.

“Utilities have to process information from many sources, make good decisions in real time and communicate clearly and continuously, internally and externally,” said Forrest Small of BRIDGE Energy Group. “Leading utilities using highly integrated outage management systems that include mobile platforms for field communications, asset management systems and automated smart meter notifications report greater success in efficient outage diagnosis and restoration.”
