Peak Property Management will be presenting a pilot class on off-campus living in conjunction with Montana State University, Bozeman Police Department, City of Bozeman, MSU Residence Life, University Police, Bozeman Fire Department, Bozeman Downtown Business Partnership and other local businesses. Classes have been scheduled on the Montana State University campus for April 9th and April 12th, 2014. The Off-Campus Living 101 class will discuss rental safety features, understanding rental leases, tenant rights and responsibilities, how to be a good neighbor, and more. Refreshments will be provided and raffle prizes given away, including two iPad minis, free bike tune-ups, and gift cards to a number of Bozeman businesses.

Kevin O’Brien of Peak Property comments, “By partnering with Montana State University to provide the Off-Campus Living 101 Class, we are able to assist Montana State University’s effort to add value for students, contributing to their enrollment and increasing demand for rental property. Collaborating with the university, city and local businesses is part of Peak Property Management’s leadership role in Bozeman property management.”

Peak Property’s partnership with Montana State University should result in a pool of potential tenants with a higher degree of awareness and education about the specifics of off-campus tenancy. Students who have attended the Off-Campus Living course will have a greater understanding of what is necessary for maintaining the property during their tenancy and thereby increase the life of the property’s components. Peak Property is a member of the Bozeman’s Good Neighbor Committee, an organization working to build community between Montana State University students and city residents.

Peak Property has been a leader in property management for commercial and residential owners and tenants in Bozeman, Belgrade and the surrounding area of Montana for more than 20 years.
