Paducah, Kentucky, named by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a UNESCO Creative City, rolls out the red carpet for thousands of quilters during QuiltWeek. Local businesses complete the experience for quilters by presenting AQS Sanctioned Events at the Yeiser Art Center, Rotary Club of Paducah, and National Quilt Museum.

AQS QuiltWeek will host a number of exciting exhibits including the international exhibit, Stich like an Egyptian, featuring 100 works of applique art, and the charitable quilt traveling exhibit, Quilted in Honor, dedicated to Operation Homefront. The high point of the show recognizes the artistry of today's quiltmakers, as over 400 works in the AQS Quilt Contest compete for more than $125,000 in cash awards. Entries come from 41 states and 10 countries.
