Cypress Bayou Casino Donates over $30,000 to Susan G. Komen Acadiana

Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel proudly donated $32,151 dollars to Susan G. Komen Acadiana this morning. The total amount represents a $25,000 title sponsorship and the amount raised from the recent Chitimacha Daylight Dash for Komen run hosted by Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel in Charenton, LA.

"Our employees are very passionate about this cause, evidenced by the more than 40 representatives we had at this years Race for the Cure in Lafayette. We are elated to be able to make a sizable contribution to Susan G. Komen Acadiana and hope that these dollars help in bringing about an end to a disease that has taken far too many lives already," said Anthony Patrone, CEO and General Manager of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel.

"We are so grateful for the support and this generous donation from Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel. They have made a solid commitment to helping find a cure and eradicate breast cancer and this donation will go far to bring about increased research and available support for those diagnosed with this disease," said Heather Blanchard, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen Acadiana.

Cypress Bayou Casino is proud to sponsor Susan G. Komen Acadiana as part of their commitment to the people of Acadiana. Additionally, the MDA Harley-Davidson raffle is an ongoing partnership with MDA of Southwest Louisiana for the past 19 years. Komen, Danielle’s Rhythm and Blues Dance and Auction benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and AJRF’s Jeep Jaunt benefiting the American Lung Association.
