Corporate Travel Management (CTM), ASX: CTD, a leading independent travel firm, is announcing the appointment of Romeo Cuter as Chief Executive Officer, North America effective April 2, 2014.

This strategic executive announcement comes as CTM continues an aggressive strategy to build superior brand recognition and service offerings across North America. This appointment is a new position to the CTM leadership team and comes as CTM finalizes the integration of operating locations in Colorado, Texas and Louisiana while working toward additional growth strategies targeted for FY15.

This position echoes the carefully crafted organizational structure that CTM has developed through their strategic model of acquisition and organic growth across Australia, New Zealand and, most recently, Asia. CTM currently operates in 26 cities across 15 countries and is home to over 1300 FTE staff worldwide.

Mr. Cuter will report to Jamie Pherous, Managing Partner based at CTM’s global headquarters in Brisbane. Current members of the Executive Leadership team in North America will report to Mr. Cuter and retain all current duties. This includes Robert A. Polk, current Chief Executive Officer and former owner of Polk Majestic Travel Group, who will now be named President, Rocky Mountain Region and Scott Evans, current Chief Executive Officer of TravelCorp CTM and former owner of TravelCorp, who will now be named President, Southern Region.

Mr. Cuter will begin his tenure with CTM by finalizing the operational integration of all current North American operating locations through the end of FY14. He will spend time in each CTM location for discovery, operational oversight and business planning sessions over the coming weeks and months before a relocation plan is established.

Mr. Cuter comes to CTM with an extensive background in travel and proven ability to deliver results in the areas of branding, staff retention and motivation, sales excellence and rapid growth. His previous experience includes tenure with large global corporations in sales and marketing leadership roles, including Flight Centre and Carlson Wagonlit, where he most recently acted as Vice President of Global Sales in North America, personally carrying one of the largest client portfolios in the industry.
