Founder of Catanese & Wells, T. Randolph Catanese, Esq., will be a member of the faculty for the 29th Annual National Conference on Equine Law. The conference, presented by The University of Kentucky College of Law, will take place at Keeneland Race Course at Lexington, Kentucky on April 30th and May 1st of 2014. Catanese & Wells is a nationally recognized equine law firm located in Westlake Village, California.
Mr. Catanese will discuss agency in the horse business (relationships with trainers, partners, etc.), the new laws regarding the requirements of the bill of sale in horse sales, and why agency issues arise in the most litigated cases in the horse business. He will also touch upon how to use jury instructions and state law to advance a client’s case in these areas.

The 29th Annual National Conference on Equine Law will feature other guest speakers on equine law, including attorneys, accountants, expert witnesses, and other professionals involved in the horse industry. This will be the second year that the equine conference is held at the historic Keeneland Race Course.
