Polaroid is expanding its range of devices from digital cameras and tablets to include smartphones, for the first time in Japan.
The kid-focused PolaSma, short for "Polaroid Smartphone" comes with KIDOZ inside, and kids can browse through thousands of pre-approved apps, videos, games and sites safely, and without being exposed to inappropriate content.
Parents can use the advance parental controls to set time limits, adjust security settings and manage more content for their kids.
The PolaSma phone has a 5-inch 960x540-resolution display and comes in 3 colors: bright Cherry Pink, Blueberry Blue and Lemon Yellow.
Devices will be distributed by cross-link nationwide in Japan in Toys R Us from the 25th of April 2014 and in more regions later this year.
