Bowling, explained the bride, would offer all their guests a chance to really interact together without a lull in activity that can sometimes lead to jittery family tension.

(PRWEB) April 29, 2014

Of all the unusual and unique places to host a wedding in New York City, Frames Bowling Lounge was honored when they were chosen as the venue for the April reception and wedding ceremony of Adriana Rodriguez and Lawrence Spasojevich.

The couple met on a blind date in a bowling alley in San Diego, where they were both attending Law School, and have since spent 4 anniversaries returning to a bowling alley to celebrate. He is a military boy, with most of his family traveling in from DC; her family is from Queens, New York.

So naturally, when the laid-back bride decided to host her wedding at Frames Bowling Lounge in NYC, the groom was all for it.

Her reasoning went beyond the assumed; she just really wanted to give both sides of the family a chance to intermingle, without any awkward moments of forced polite conversation. Bowling, she explained, would offer all their guests a chance to really interact together without a lull in activity that can sometimes lead to jittery family tension. The bride had been to Frames for a work cocktail party: and loved the stress-free luxe party vibe.

The couple's best friend – a recently ordained minister- married the couple in Frames' plush dance lounge, which the bride had decorated with white roses earlier in the day.

When the ceremony ended, the wedding party shifted to the bowling lounge area, and guests enjoyed Beer Towers, burgers and each others company. The Bride mingled with her family and joined in some friendly bowling competition.

The bride wore a simple white sheath dress, and the groom donned a tailored tux, with all guests arriving to the formal bowling event in suits and cocktail dresses.

Ms. Rodriguez and Mr. Spasojevich will be celebrating their union with a second lavish reception in Jamaica next month.
