The best features of IVS Intel® Teach Elements were all the examples of the content. Many of them I will be able to use for years to come in my classroom.

Illinois Virtual School - Professional Development course facilitators were recognized for their contributions to Intel® Teach Elements online professional development courses. The program - Organized by Danielle Brush Lewis, Coordinator of Professional Development Services - was spotlighted for new course rubrics developed by the IVS team of Illinois course facilitators at the April Intel® Teach Affiliates meeting. The rubrics were developed to more clearly communicate expectations and help participants create a more meaningful final project/action plan that could be immediately implemented in the classroom.
The response to the program has been very positive. "The best features of IVS Intel® Teach Elements were all the examples of the content. Many of them I will be able to use for years to come in my classroom," stated C. Smith, participant in Assessment of 21st Century Skills. "The activities were relevant and usable in real life classroom," added L. Sward, participant in Project-Based Approaches. "
A summer session of the Intel® Teach Elements courses, including the popular Designing Blended Learning and Projects-Based Approaches, will be held June 25-August 5, 2014. Graduate credit is now available for successful completion of these courses. For course descriptions and enrollment directions, please visit our Online Courses and Training Site or email Danielle Brush Lewis at dlewis(at)ilvirtual(dot)org.
