Jim Corey, Managing Partner and co-founder of Blue Ridge Partners, a management consulting firm focused on helping companies accelerate profitable revenue growth, will speak at The CFO Forum in New York at The Harvard Club on May 8th.
Corey’s presentation “Accelerating Revenue Growth with Insights from Internal Data Mining,” focuses on the analysis of available and readily obtainable data to gain key insights for direct contributions to revenue growth. The Forum, sponsored by Richmond Events, features some of financial management's top leaders, offering open discussions and debate on strategies, a look at new industry research, and discussions on gaining new perspectives in business.
Corey has spent 30 years assisting companies in North America, Europe and Asia to accelerate profitable revenue growth. He has worked with more than 300 client companies on revenue-related issues including growth strategy, pricing, sales and marketing management, customer segmentation and messaging.

The article serves as a preview to the findings, knowledge, and questions that Corey intends to pose at The CFO Forum. “Are sales reps driving for ever higher revenue growth and margin improvement each year? Are the best contributors to growth and profitability being well compensated? Are lesser contributors receiving lower compensation? Sales leaders will usually answer yes to all these questions,” said Corey, “but sometimes the data reveal a different story.”
“Examining the data from a CFO standpoint can bring new insights that lead to stronger revenue growth,” said Corey who will facilitate discussion and a lively exchange with the attending delegates to further personalize and deepen their understanding of concepts Corey has worked for years to identify.
