Dr Tariq Drabu in Manchester said, “Tooth loss is very common in adults of all ages throughout the United Kingdom. There are a number of factors which can result in tooth loss from poor oral health to gum disease to accidents. Depending on where the tooth is located will determine the best course of treatment to help patients get on with their life without health or social ramifications.”

Dr Tariq Drabu went on to say, “Patients that lose teeth tend to have self-esteem issues stemming from the missing teeth. These are not the only problems that they encounter daily due to gaps in their mouth, problems such as speech problems, problems chewing and other teeth close to the gap becoming compromised, are just a few of the issues these patients deal with on a daily basis.”
