Unanet is a member of the Small and Emerging Contractor Advisory Forum (SECAF) and was an Awards sponsor of the Gala held on May 1st at the Hilton Mclean in Tysons, VA. Customers of Unanet were finalists in the following categories: Government Contractor of the Year, Small Business Partner of the Year, Government Project of the Year and a new category, Special Recognition Award. The Government Contractor of the Year category had four categories based on revenue: under 6 million, 6-12 million, 12-25 million and under 25 million.

Unanet customers included in the Government Contractor of the Year were: Coverent, winner of Under six million category, MindPoint Group, LLC, finalist in the 6-12 million category, MicroPact Inc., finalist in the 12-25 million category and Integrity Management Consulting, winner in the under 25 million category. Customers Ingenicomm, Inc. and Transformation Systems were finalists in the SECAF Government Project of the Year and Altamaria Technologies Corporation was a finalist in the SECAF Small Business Partner of the Year. Unanet customer VariQ Corporation won the Special Recognition Award.
