Manhattan Beach, CA (PRWEB) May 09, 2014
Employees from SENSA® Products, LLC, a leading weight-loss and lifestyle brand, will be volunteering at the Annual Entertainment Industry Foundation’s (EIF) Revlon Run/Walk for Women on May 10th, 2014 in Los Angeles. SENSA® employees are gathering together for this special event to help support the company’s mission of helping people live happier, healthier lives.
EIF’s Revlon Run/Walk for Women has become one of the largest single-day fundraisers for women’s cancers in the United States. More than 25,000 participants are expected to join and to help raise critical funds to support women's cancer research, counseling and outreach programs.
SENSA® volunteers will be staffing water stations along the route. This is the first event in a series of run/walk health events the company will be volunteering for as part of its SENSA® Cares initiative. Through this initiative, the company has also worked with After-School All-Stars as well as the National Theatre for Children to help teach children the importance of a healthy lifestyle, including proper portion control, nutrition and physical activity.
“SENSA® proudly advocates for the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women and what it gives back to the community,” said Kristin Chadwick, CEO of SENSA® Products, LLC. “As always, we advocate a healthy lifestyle and are excited to support an activity based event.”
