(AIS) is pleased to announce the full agenda for the upcoming virtual workshop, “Consumer Engagement Best Practices: Health Plan Strategies for Improving Outcomes and Generating Savings.” Taught by two executives from Silverlink Communications, Inc. — a preeminent provider of consumer engagement intelligence to the health plan community — this June 4 program will provide valuable insights into health plan consumer engagement best practices, and a practical toolkit for successfully engaging and driving consumer behavior.
Silverlink’s Kathleen Ellmore, vice president of engagement sciences, and Jack Newsom, Sc.D., vice president of marketing analytics, will offer intensive classroom training on how health plans can improve consumer engagement over the course of the workshop’s four sessions. They are:
- 11:00 – 12:00: “Getting It Right the First Time: Effective Strategies for Onboarding Members in the First 90 Days” — First impressions are everything, and driving a positive consumer experience from day one is critical for health plans. The virtual workshop’s opening session will feature practical tips and tactics on how insurers can cement effective relationships with their new members in the first 90 days.
- 12:15 – 1:45: “Leveraging Data to Create an Exceptional Customer Experience … and Results” — A brand is not driven by a health plan’s glossy print or television ads, but instead by the sum of the everyday touches a member has with an organization. Health plans can make the most of every member interaction by tapping into their wealth of member data to personalize these experiences and drive better health choices by their members. This important session will explore segmentation, willingness-to-engage modeling, targeting, test-and-learn and consumer analytics. It will feature insights from leading consumer marketers that can be applied to health care to win member trust and build loyalty and retention.
- 2:15 – 3:15: “Managing Member Transitions: A Key to Better Outcomes and Health Plan Success” — Whether a member is moving from an employer-sponsored plan to a public exchange or an individual to a group plan, these transitions provide plans with unique (but short-lived) opportunities to educate members about their benefits and the plan’s commitment to member success. This session will discuss the responsibilities of member and plan to ensure a smooth transition of care, and provide the details of best practices and tools that can make the transition process a more effective, convenient and holistic one.
- 3:30 – 5:00: “Employing Best Practices in Pharmacy Engagement” — Few, if any, areas of consumer outreach can have a bigger impact on health outcomes — and an insurer’s bottom line — than pharmacy adherence. The most utilized benefit in health care, pharmacy has been at the forefront of consumer engagement innovation, with new strategies to help members make better health decisions. This session will provide the details of pharmacy best practices and explore how they can be applied effectively to other areas of consumer engagement.
Additionally, each of the workshop’s four sessions will conclude with generous time allocated to answering individual questions.
