The Red Book Connect team knew there was a demand for more mobile restaurant tools, but they have been impressed by the swift sales of their new product, the Digital Red Book. Since its initial launch in February, more than 600 Digital Red Book solutions have been sold and adopted by customers including Modmarket and Toomer’s Coffee. The Digital Red Book app is available in the iTunes Store, Google Play Store and Windows Store.
From the corporate office to managers in the field, the Digital Red Book enables real-time communication. The tool allows the corporate office to communicate goals and best practices to every manager on the front line. Managers can track the progress of daily tasks, monitor key performance metrics and document shift and inventory issues while providing immediate communication between shifts and across multiple locations. Toni Holt of Toomer’s Coffee in Auburn, Alabama uses the Digital Red Book at their location. “It is user friendly, reminds employees to complete all tasks, and I like that all contacts and coffee info is at their fingertips,” said Toni. “We are planning to franchise later so it will be really helpful as we grow.”
