Time Warner Cable announced today the grand opening of a new experience store in the Queens Center Mall. The enhanced store provides a hands-on environment for customers to learn about Time Warner Cable products and services and how they can get the most from their services.
“As we continue to introduce new product technologies and features, this new experience store will serve as a resource for customers to better understand everything we have to offer,” said John Quigley, regional vice president of operations, Time Warner Cable. “This store is yet another way we are striving to improve customer service and connect with our customers by providing a relaxed and engaging environment that encourages people to interact with and sample our products.”
In addition to the transformed store, a new initiative is underway to revolutionize the TWC customer experience in New York City with major enhancements including:
Some Queens areas have already began to see ultra-fast internet speed upgrades including parts of Astoria, Astoria Heights, Elmhurst, Hunter’s Point, Long Island City, Sunnyside and Woodside.
Located inside the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst, Time Warner Cable’s new store will host a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, May 15. The event will be attended by Time Warner Cable executives and business leaders from the communities of Queens.
In celebration of the grand re-opening, Time Warner Cable will launch two new learning labs in Queens this summer. The learning labs are made available through partnerships with the Greater Ridgewood Youth Council and Woodside on the Move.
“I want to welcome back Time Warner Cable to Queens Center Mall. Before its renovation, this branch was the busiest Time Warner Cable location in the country. I want to thank all of the Time Warner Cable employees here for your continued service to our community and I know customers are glad to have you back in the neighborhood,” said Senator Toby Ann Stavisky (D-Flushing).
The store’s grand opening will be highlighted by several customer appreciation activities. Customers are encouraged to visit the new store, enjoy complimentary refreshments, gifts and giveaway items, and join in a raffle for a chance to win additional prizes such as a Walt Frazier signed basketball and MSG concert tickets.
As part of Time Warner Cable’s commitment to customer service, the new store allows for increased efficiency while providing faster service and an exceptional experience.
