Florida MEP (FLMEP), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping manufacturers, will present a series of free informational webinars for manufacturers and business owners in an effort to help boost our state’s economy and manufacturing industry. The first webinar in the series will be held this month and cover pricing for profitability.
If you are the owner of a manufacturing company or a member of a manufacturing firm’s management team, you know that pricing products correctly is absolutely critical. Small variances in prices can mean the difference between making money and losing money.
This is why Florida MEP (FLMEP) is holding its first of a series of free webinars on this topic on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 3pm entitled “Understanding Material, Labor, and Overhead for Profitability”. This live 60-minute webinar is funded by the State of Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity, as part of a larger effort to boost Florida’s manufacturing industry.
"In this live webinar, you will learn how to: pinpoint your materials costs, calculate labor with great precision, uncover overhead costs and price all of your products for profitability," said Larry Meadows, Instructor. "Plus, you will receive two electronic tools that can be used to help customize pricing in your manufacturing business."
