The City of Memphis announced today that it is has joined the MITN Purchasing Group, a BidNet online procurement system that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local government bids in Michigan.

City of Memphis announced today that it is has joined the MITN Purchasing Group, an online procurement group and bid system that provides vendors with an easier and more economical way to access and compete for local Michigan government bids.

MITN Purchasing Group connects 1,481 departments from 129 local government agencies throughout Michigan and provides a bid notification system that gives vendors instant access to Bids, RFP's, Quotes and Amendments online. City of Memphis joined the MITN bid system on May 27, 2014, providing its vendors with convenient access to bid information for City of Memphis and all other participating agencies on the system.

The online purchasing group is part of a nation-wide e-procurement solution powered by BidNet.
