How time flies! It has been three decades since the opening and reform and China has gradually completed the socialist market economic system, in other words, China has stepped into a prosperous period of market economy, under which enterprises are supposed to abide by the law of value in socialism and the market-orientated policy to ensure long-term development. That’s what abrasives industry in China has been long performing. By observing the policy of "energy-saving and emission production" and timely adjustment of product mix according to market demand, China abrasive industry has received beneficial results.
According to statistics, abrasives industry has witnessed a substantial increase in exports on year-on-year basis, so has the average price. For instance, the exports being 205,800 tons, abrasive tools (grinding wheels and oilstone included) increased 24.04% year-on-year. With years of development, abrasives industry in China has grown to maturity and Chinese brands are springing up like mushrooms after rain.
It is notable that a majority of enterprises choose to locate their products in the upmarket instead of middle and low ones. Actually, consumers attach more importance to cost-effective products rather than high-end markets. As a result, while targeting at upmarkets, enterprises are suggested to taking middle and low markets into account to ensure the "customer first" principle.—iAbrasive report
