Schafer will serves as panelists in a national online webinar called “Workers’ Compensation and Social Media: An Effective Evidentiary Tool in Defending Claims.” According to the website of Strafford (the provider of the webinar), the online event will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT.
The continuing legal education (CLE) event will focus on the topics of discovery, investigation, privacy issues and ethical concerns related to social media evidence. According to Strafford’s website, the webinar’s panel will talk about the best methods for obtaining social media evidence, tactics for properly authenticating and using this evidence, and various challenges (including ethical challenges) that arise in the use of social media as evidence in workers’ compensation claims.
