Today, Fred Hathaway, Managing Director of EntreDot, hosted the first Pivot Points, a monthly Metro Raleigh Business RadioX program that will feature emerging small businesses who have made a successful “pivot” in their strategy execution. The first show aired today at 1:00pm EDT and is available online. The show featured Hathaway discussing EntreDot with station co-host Ann Revell-Pechar and introduced this week’s guest, Steffanie Lafors of A Photographic Memory by Steffanie.
“We are excited about the idea of giving entrepreneurs, their mentors and sponsors, a platform upon which to tell their stories,” says Fred Hathaway, Managing Director of EntreDot. “We will be offering the microphone to small businesses to help advance local economic growth. We want to create strong leaders through collaboration and guidance. In doing so, these emerging businesses will bring in the resources they need to successfully grow in today’s world.”
The Triangle area of North Carolina has become a hub for small businesses and entrepreneurs, with many success stories and growing national attention. Fast Company touts the Raleigh-Durham area as one of the best communities for startups and it is not hard to see why. EntreDot co-founders Bill Warner and Brad Lienhart have put their heart and soul into providing a way for entrepreneurs to get their foot in the door of the business world. Both have experience with their own startups and want to help small businesses through mentorship and tailored programs. Pivot Points is a new radio show designed to showcase the challenges and successes of associates. There is no easy road when it comes to creating and growing a business so let EntreDot help connect the dots.
Hathaway indicates that short segments of Pivot Points will be available on EntreDot’s YouTube channel. An RSS feed will become available at Business Radio X for those who want to listen to the show in its entirety.
The vision of EntreDot is to help one million “Main Street” entrepreneurs reach their five year business anniversary and achieve long-term sustainability.
