Neil Libin of Real Living Lifestyles has ranked fourth in individual gross commission income and tenth in individual transactions closed in 2013. Real Living Real Estate also recognized Libin nationally in gross commission income – ranking 70 out of the top 100 individuals in the franchise.

Ever since 1984 when he started out in his family’s Home Furnishings business in Canada, Libin has been in business for himself. In the nineties, he owned a La Jolla Restaurant and in 2002 he decided to take the real estate exams and become a realtor. When he started in the industry, he kept his focus on residential real estate. He later began working with investors purchasing and selling investment type properties when the market shifted in 2006. He then moved on to working with investors buying distressed properties and helping them rehabilitate and resell them.

This has been where he has primarily dedicated his efforts and has successfully become a very hands on and knowledgeable real estate restoration and resell specialist. “I have the ability to help my clients buy, fix and flip without even visiting the properties,” said Libin.

Libin considers himself a full service realtor, going beyond the needs of his clients on a regular basis. With his investor clients he takes full responsibility in the process of finding, fixing, and selling. Some of the clients never even set their feet on the property. With his knowledge of renovations, Libin can help those clients with vendors, contractors, and anything else they might need. His interior design experience helps his clients all the way through the process with furnishing and staging properties for sale.

In the future Libin plans on expanding his investment side while acquiring new investors and real estate agents wanting to work with him. He is also looking forward to working with his buyers who can’t afford a finished product. His plan is to assist them on buying a distressed property or a property that is in need of TLC and helping them complete the renovation process. This will save the client thousands of dollars in the process, a local Property Brothers concept, for those familiar with the popular show on HGTV.
