We believe this bike locker was created in a viable design that addresses real issues faced by cyclists.

Reliance Foundry Co. Ltd., North America’s premier supplier of bollards, bike parking solutions, and custom castings, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Bikebox Canada, an innovative designer, developer and supplier of thermoplastic bike lockers. The acquisition makes Reliance Foundry the sole distributor of the company’s signature product - the Bike Box. This innovative Bikebox bike locker features a revolutionary design that makes it unique in the bike storage industry. It was developed by the company’s founder, Dean Gibson, after a series of assessment tests that he performed for colleges and universities. Through his research, he developed a design that would be easy-to-install and durable.
“We wanted to provide an extremely durable bike locker that would stand up to the challenges of contemporary streetscapes,” said Rick Pasternak, Sales Manager at Reliance Foundry. “We believe bikebox bike lockers to be unparalleled in secure bike storage.”
At sites all across North America, Bikebox bike lockers have provided “peace of mind” protection from the elements, thieves and vandals. They feature a one-of-a-kind design that allows them to be interlocked or stacked with or on other lockers. The unique design also offers the optimal level of storage security not only for bicycles but also for additional storage equipment like back packs, panniers and lights. The recycled plastic material, from which they are created, is durable and exceptionally easy to maintain. It provides weather resistant protection, prevents theft and vandalism and it will maintain its vibrant appearance for a minimum of 20 years. The transition of ownership will allow a seamless supply to Bikebox Canada’s customers. All of Bikebox Canada’s products are now live on Reliance Foundry’s website and can be ordered with no change to Bikebox’s standard wait or lead times.
“We’re thrilled about this acquisition and even happier be supplying top-class of bike lockers again,“ said Rick Pasternak, Sales Manager at Reliance Foundry. “We believe this bike locker was created in a viable design that addresses real issues faced by cyclists.”
Reliance Foundry will continue to offer Bikebox bike lockers at prices that are among the most competitive on the market and will offer volume discounts for larger orders. Standard models, offered in charcoal black, are currently being produced and will be available for shipment shortly.
