Optimaze Inc., a subsidiary of Rapal, a Finnish market leader in integrated workplace management systems software, today announced the appointment of Geary Lauraya as Senior Sales Manager reporting to CEO Jyrki Kalavainen.
Geary comes to Optimaze from HRAnswerLink, a HR compliance products and services SaaS company, where he served as Sales Executive. Prior to HRAnswerLink, he was Principal/Business Development at GravityVillage. Lauraya also founded First Security Shredding, a full-service document destruction and records storage firm, servicing most of California. First Security Shredding was acquired by a major company after six years of successful operation.
In addition to his sales and entrepreneurial experience, Geary spent 11 years in the financial industry at Merrill Lynch as AVP Private Client Group and at Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter as VP Financial Consultant.

Lauraya is a graduate of California State University--East Bay where he earned a BS in Business Administration, Finance & Economics. He also completed the Wharton Entrepreneurial Training Program while at Merrill Lynch.
