Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) June 03, 2014

Angie’s List is pleased to announce its title sponsorship of the Grand Prix of Indianapolis for 2015 and 2016. In connection with the sponsorship, the company is planning to host its first-ever ‘Festival of Service’, a networking event designed to thank a select group of several thousand service providers for their commitment to revolutionizing local service.

“We’re elevating expectations in local service and working with the very best in the business to do it,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “Our Festival of Service will celebrate companies that are working alongside us on this mission.”

Angie’s List has long sponsored race cars in the Indy 500-mile race, but getting involved with the Grand Prix race brings a new kind of excitement, Hicks said.

“There’s no better place in the world to be than Indianapolis in the month of May,” Hicks said.

“This is a world-class race, and we’ll bring in world-class service companies, not just to reward them, but also to find new and innovative ways to work together.”

Mark Miles, CEO of Hulman & Co., said he is “thrilled to announce Angie’s List as the new title sponsor of the event through 2016.”

“Angie’s List is a nationally-renowned, but Indianapolis-based company, so it makes perfect sense that they would help us open the track for the most important month of the year at this iconic venue,” Miles said.

Nineteen years ago, Angie’s List began collecting and sharing reviews on local service performance as a way to improve the hiring process. Over the years, it has amassed an incredible amount of data, experience and expertise.

“It’s that wealth of data and knowledge that will enable us to continue revolutionizing the local service experience by using rules and tools to make selecting, contacting, hiring and scheduling superior local service companies even easier,” Hicks.
