London (PRWEB UK) 9 June 2014
Aqua Platinum Projects is delighted to announce that they have received the Energy Efficiency prize at 2014’s UK Pool & Spa Show in Coventry, United Kingdom.
The UK Pool & Spa Awards, fronted by the UK’s leading water leisure publication ‘Pool and Spa Scene’, is an unaffiliated and independent event. It’s designed to bring together industry professionals from every corner of the water leisure sector, from designers to suppliers.
The accolade for best Energy Efficiency was presented to Aqua Platinum Projects for a recent swimming pool development in a carbon-neutral property in Camden, North London. The project also gained notoriety after it was featured on the hit Channel 4 series, Grand Designs.
The reasoning behind the commendation comes as the company had successfully designed, developed and installed the Camden pool using an advanced insulation system manufactured in the UK.
Managing Director, Ryan Fronda, spoke about the company’s achievements and the latest award:
“We’re extremely proud of winning the Energy Efficiency prize at this year’s UK Pool & Spa Show. The system we installed is truly magnificent. It is able to retain 96% of heat at lower energy costs than any other system currently available on the market."
“It’s great to see that the dedication and hard work that the entire Aqua Platinum team put into every single project is being recognised, and hopefully we can aim to secure more awards in the near future."
