Canvas, the global leader in mobile apps for businesses, today announced that Randall De Lorenzo has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Global Revenue. In this role, De Lorenzo will lead Canvas’ sales team efforts that are focused on driving global revenue growth and monetizing channel sales across all geographies.

De Lorenzo brings nearly 20 years of enterprise mobility sales experience to Canvas, and an unmatched track record for accelerating revenue growth at emerging mobile technology firms. Prior to joining Canvas, De Lorenzo served as Chief Mobility Officer at enterprise mobility platform provider Xigo, LLC, where he grew revenues for the mobile business by 4200% during his tenure before the firm was successfully sold to Dimension Data in 2012. Before Xigo, De Lorenzo was Vice President of Professional Services of TRAQ Wireless, Inc. (acquired by Tangoe), where he was responsible for the development of enterprise wireless strategy, as well as implementation of large-scale enterprise wireless initiatives. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President and General Manager in what is now Verizon Wireless.

“Randall has seen and done it all in the enterprise mobility space; every single company he has helped to grow substantial new revenue streams and market opportunities stood at the same inflection point Canvas is positioned at today,” said James Quigley, co-founder and chief executive officer at Canvas. “Few in the industry possess Randall’s innate understanding of how businesses use mobile technology and what it takes to drive enterprise adoption, and we are thrilled to have him join the firm in this new leadership role.”

“What ultimately drew me to Canvas is the brilliant simplicity of its solution that makes it easy for a business of any size and in any location to digitize their manual and paper-based processes,” said De Lorenzo. “With thousands of customers in more than 50 countries, Canvas is clearly on a robust trajectory, and what excites me most is the opportunity to work with a talented team committed to helping customers transform their businesses through mobile.”

Thousands of organizations of all sizes – ranging from Fortune 100 firms and nonprofits to one-person businesses – leverage Canvas’s mobile app platform to replace cumbersome paper forms with highly customizable mobile business apps that enable organizations to save money on their data collection processes and boost productivity. The firm’s Application Store now has more than 14,000 ready-made apps that can be customized to an individual business user's needs, and Canvas also offers a do-it-yourself app builder toolkit enabling non-technical users to build mobile apps in minutes.
