Limmer Creative, the leading provider of EMS test prep and review apps for mobile devices, web and the mobile web announces its first exam prep app in the Nursing market with 500 Last Minute Study Tips for the NCLEX.
Containing 500 review items in study card format as well as 50 additional case-based cards to match the NCLEX format, the app is based on the major content categories and sub-categories in the NCLEX examination.
"The NCLEX is a high-stakes examination," notes Limmer Creative Founder Dan Limmer. "Our app provides high yield study whether the student uses the app at the last minute or as part of a comprehensive study plan."
The app contains core functionality found in all Limmer Creative's apps including the ability to designate cards as “mastered” so they are no longer seen in the program once the user feels confident with the content. Students also have the ability to study by NCLEX core content section or to randomize cards from the entire program. The app was created by experienced Registered Nurses and educators.
"Passing the NCLEX opens a door,” notes Co-author Brenda Beasley, RN, MS. "It was the singular focus of our RN author team to provide a tool that gets students through that door and into and everything nursing offers them."
Limmer Creative will continue to expand into the nursing and allied health markets with a medical terminology app and a nursing version of its Med Benders™ word game, both due out in July.
"It is a core part of our vision to expand into the nursing and allied health markets," says Limmer Creative CEO Stephanie Limmer. "Our Last Minute Study Tips app is a key offering as an entry to this space."
The app's retail price is $9.99 and is available on the Apple iTunes Store, Google Play and through Limmer Creative's LC-Ready.com web platform.
