Guelph, Ontario (PRWEB) June 10, 2014
MMTR Health, a well-known physiotherapy clinic located in Guelph, Ontario, will continue to offer the treatment program to patients. However, MyoWorx® will be taking the driver’s seat on all future medical endeavors, starting with concussion.
MyoWorx® will now be able to pursue their calling on developing formal certification and licensing programs. These programs will continue to inform evidence-based research through collaborative partnerships.
MMTR Health will remain as a primary center conducting research for MyoWorx. The initial focus for MyoWorx will be expanding their Concussion Treatment program, a comprehensive approach to treating concussion symptoms.
Going forward, new formalized programs will also be launched to provide certification and licensing programs to provide health professionals the ability to successfully treat patients with certain chronic or difficult conditions, and neurological disorders.
MyoWorx® has been gaining positive recognition across the industry. The MyoWorx® TM20 device has been quoted as the physiological key to unlock treatment potential. As patient success stories continue to gain positive publicity in the industry, the device is expected to start being used by clinics and professionals across the nation.
As the business decision to separate from MMTR Health was difficult, the immediate benefits helped to emphasize why this has been the right move for both companies.
MyoWorx®’s split from MMTR Health will encourage vigorous research to continue in the field of concussion treatment. MMTR Health’s specialty clinic will spread imperative knowledge about the treatment approach and emphasize the therapeutic benefits to patients. MyoWorx® and MMTR’s main objective will remain the same, which is to treat patients back to functional and pain-free life styles.
MyoWorx®’s mission, as an independent company, is to provide the knowledge and tools to help treat people suffering from concussion symptoms and other difficult or chronic conditions. Terry Moore’s focus, as founder and CEO for both companies, is to provide a unique perspective on concussion treatment exercises and training. Moore pride’s his business models on helping people that are suffering from symptoms that were lacking a known cure. As innovators of concussion symptom relief, the vision is for MyoWorx® to set the precedent and fully train others with the equipment, exercise devices and treatment programs.
