Pro Mach demonstrates its commitment to the Latin American packaging industry with a major presence at Expo Pack, June 17-20 at the Centro Benamex exhibition center in Mexico City. Eleven of Pro Mach’s brands will showcase the latest solutions for bottling & capping, primary packaging, flexible packaging, material handling, identification & tracking, and end of line packaging.

Of interest at the Pro Mach exhibits:

Federal Mfg., Booth 1722: Liquid Filling & Capping Systems
Showcasing high quality, robust, and low-cost-of-ownership liquid filling and capping machines, Federal develops packaging solutions for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, industrial, and chemical applications. Solutions include level and net weight fillers; monoblock, freestanding, and custom cappers; and integrated systems.

Zalkin, Booth 3300: Capping & Cap Handling Systems
From a 5 milliliter vial to a 5 gallon container, Zalkin capping technology addresses a full range of application needs to customers worldwide in industries including beverage, distilled spirits, wine, food, pharmaceutical, household products, personal care, and chemical. Solutions include high-performance capping, cap sorting, cap feeding, and de-capping operations.

Axon, Booth 1721: Shrink & Stretch Sleeve Application Systems
Axon will be featuring the Aurora SS in-line mandrel-style shrink-film applicator. The Aurora SS is engineered for industries with strict hygienic and wash down requirements, such as food and dairy, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and chemical. Aurora models are designed to perform in the toughest manufacturing environments, at speeds up to 300 sleeves per minute.

Ossid, Booth 1731: Tray Packaging, Weighing & Form Fill Seal Systems
Ossid features the 500im intermittent motion leak-resistant stretch overwrapper. This new machine is designed for red meat, pork, poultry, and produce packers that want a moderately priced, quality end-seal machine that tightly wraps low- or high-profile case-ready packages. The 500im features an open stainless steel frame, a host of standard features, and a wrap rate of up to 35 trays per minute.

Roberts PolyPro, Booth 1622: Bottle & Box Handles & Application Systems
Roberts Polypro will demonstrate the capabilities of its innovative semi-automatic bottle handle applicator designed to help brand owners and contract packagers cost effectively boost production. This handle applicator with a single attendant outputs between 15 to 17 cases per minute and comes with a price tag significantly under automatic machines.

Matrix, Booth 1620: Automated Pouch Packaging Systems
Matrix will feature the Toyo Jidoki TT-8D-R fill-and-seal pre-made pouch machine for shelf stable food applications. This machine fills and seals stand-up, flat bottom, and press to close (options needed) pouches for a retort process at a rate of 16 to 40 units per minute.

KLEENLine and Shuttleworth, Booths 1632 and 1633: Product Conveying & Material Handling Systems
Shuttleworth and KLEENLine are showcasing an integrated conveyor loop featuring Shuttleworth’s V-Clean wipe-down conveyor design and KLEENLine’s new sanitary Lane Switch conveyor.

The V-Clean wipe down conveyor features gentle product handling using Shuttleworth’s Slip-Torque technology, which maintains low back pressure as the product accumulates and routes single rows to the Lane Switch conveyor. The Lane Switch conveyor is a heavy duty servo-controlled diverting conveyor that offers gentle product handling and transfers.

ID Technology, Booth 1724: Labeling, Coding & Marking Systems
ID Technology will show a wide range of label printer applicators and label applicators for both case labeling and primary product decorative labeling. The industry-leading 252 Label Printer Applicator will be displayed in four different configurations: top apply, leading edge corner wrap for tight spaces, side apply for pallet applications, and an integrated Case-Taper-Labeler configuration. Decorative labeling solutions will include the ST1000 Blow On and the 1500i In-Line Wrap Labeler.

Orion, Booth 1732: Stretch & Pallet Wrapping Systems
Orion will feature the Sentry – an entry level semi-automatic turntable stretch wrapping machine designed to apply stretch film to a wide variety of pallet loads. The Sentry stretch wrapper can dramatically increase efficiency and lower film cost per load compared to manual stretch wrapping. All steel construction, heavy-duty components, and reliable electronics assure trouble-free operation for many years.

Wexxar/BEL, Booth 1733: Case Forming & Sealing Systems
The DEKKA 100 brings Dekka’s superior design and manufacturing standards to the entry-level case sealer market. It is able to handle a wide range of case sizes with a quick two-point size change over. This machine differentiates itself with its compact design, high quality build, easy access points for maintenance, helpful pictorial guides and color coded size change labels.

Of note: Orion and Wexxar/BEL will be showcasing an integrated sealing and stretch wrapping solution at Booths 1732 and 1733.
