Price Benowitz is proud to announce the addition of attorney Terry Eaton as a partner and the head of the firm’s White Collar Defense and Government Investigations Practice Group. Terry is an esteemed and seasoned trial attorney who has tried numerous cases in federal and state courts. Terry served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C. for almost six years, where he tried 24 jury trials, conducted more than 100 grand jury investigations, and prosecuted multiple Title III wiretap cases.
Terry’s career includes a variety of private sector experience. He comes to Price Benowitz from Washington Gas Light Company, where as an Assistant General Counsel he managed various commercial litigation matters. Terry also worked at Dickstein Shapiro, LLP, where he handled internal corporate and government investigations and litigated matters involving securities fraud, commercial insurance coverage, bribery, mail and wire fraud, and ethical issues regarding lobbying activities. Finally, Terry served as a labor and employment associate at Epstein Becker Green, P.C., where he focused on employment discrimination cases and traditional collective bargaining.

Terry graduated from the Duke University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with honors. He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. James S. Gwin, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Ohio. Before attending law school, Terry worked as a White House intern and taught English in Japan as part of the Japanese Exchange & Teaching Program.
Terry is also a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and resides in the District of Columbia with his wife.
