Dr. Ronald Receveur is so confident that his work will last that he is extending his groundbreaking 10-year warranty on dental implants to a lifetime warranty.

Receveur, who practices across the Ohio River from Louisville in the Southern Indiana town of New Albany, said he has seen a 98-percent effectiveness rate with his implants.

“Given dental implants’ price, success rate and longevity, implants should last a lifetime,” Dr. Receveur said. “I have that much confidence in them.”

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into the jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are fantastic options for patients who have lost one or more teeth.

“If your implant/implants fracture or fail, we will replace or repair any fractured or failing implant at no charge to you for a lifetime,” according to the warranty.

The warranty covers facelift dentures, overdentures and fixed prostheses supported by implants. A prosthesis is an artificial tooth or teeth fixed atop the implant.

The warranty also covers the prosthesis for five years.

“Restoring smiles that will last a lifetime is our ultimate goal,” Dr. Receveur said.

Dr. Receveur also practices IV sedation dentistry, which allows him to guarantee his patients a pain-free experience.

The warranty does have some limits. Patients must maintain uninterrupted care and keep all appointments with Dr. Receveur.

Patients also must follow Dr. Receveur’s recommendations for dental care and prohibitions against certain activities. These include not eating certain hard foods, such as ice, and biting non-food items.

The warranty also does not cover damage to implants or prostheses such as accidents, dropping, neglect or improper use.

Dr. Receveur offers general and cosmetic dental work such as teeth cleanings, X-rays, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, Strickland facelift dentures, teeth whitening and veneers.

Dr. Receveur also is an expert in more advanced implant dentistry like All on Four dental implants, All on Six dental implants, mini dental implants, dental implants in one hour, dental implants in one day, bone grafting and sinus lifts.

Dr. Receveur, a New Albany, Ind., native, has been the family dentist of choice for Southern Indiana and Louisville since 1981.

Dr. Receveur graduated from Indiana University Southeast with honors in chemistry, after which he earned his doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
