Today, Addteq has announced that they will participate in a strategic partnership with the Jenkins Enterprise platform provider, Cloudbees as a Gold Service Partner. As a service partner with Cloudbees, Addteq plans to broaden their service and product offerings. To date, Addteq has been an official Atlassian expert for over 2 years. As an Atlassian expert, Addteq delivers services such as data migration, custom plugin development, and general consultation services to Atlassian users. Apart from the Atlassian software suite, Addteq also has considerable experience in other popular industry tools including Jenkins CI. Addteq's latest flagship product is Codefactori, a software development platform as a service centered around the Atlassian software development suite. Previously, Codefactori customers were able to pick and choose any set of Atlassian software tools to be custom configured and hosted on the Codefactori platform. With the new partnership between Addteq and Cloudbees, Jenkins CI will now be amongst the eligible tools Codefactori customers can choose to include their development environments. Addteq would also bundle support and customization services for clients who wish to have a more tailor-fit software development solution.
Founded in 2010, CloudBees has quickly become a leader in continuous delivery. Cloudbees offers a comprehensive platform for software release management and integrated cloud-based development and test environments. The Cloudbees platform provides a rich set of extensions and plugins around the widely popular Jenkins CI tool to accelerate the development, integration and deployment of web and mobile applications. Addteq has carefully evaluated the Cloudbees platform and determined that there is great potential in the marriage of the this platform and Addteq's Codefactori platform.
"Software configuration and release management sits at the core of Addteq's strategy. I believe this partnership will enable both Cloudbees and Addteq to bring compelling value to our respective clients who are looking to implement agile and automated continuous delivery solutions," states Surinderpal Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Addteq.
"CloudBees is pleased to add Addteq as a valued Services Partner. We're excited to see Codefactori and Jenkins working so well together," said Andrew Lee, vice president of business development, CloudBees. "We believe the trust that Addteq has earned from its customers will be extended through its expertise and reselling capability with Jenkins Enterprise."
As software development moves more and more to the cloud, product offerings such as Codefactori and Cloudbees will only play more of an integral part the software release management life cycle. Addteq's decision to partner with Cloudbees is a symbol of their commitment to the bright future of software development on the cloud.
