Carolina Farm Credit Members Win Drawing for Honda Generator

Greg Hartsell and Tim Sloop of Salisbury are the winners of the 2,000 watt Honda Generator given away as an association-wide door prize at the spring customer appreciation events. Hartsell and Sloop are owners of Patterson Farms in Salisbury and are members of the Carolina Farm Credit Salisbury branch.

Dalton, Jr., CEO of Carolina Farm Credit announces that Greg Hartsell and Tim Sloop of Salisbury are the winners of the 2,000 watt Honda Generator given away as an association-wide door prize at the spring customer appreciation events. Hartsell and Sloop are owners of Patterson Farms in Salisbury and are members of the Carolina Farm Credit Salisbury branch.

Carolina Farm Credit held an association-wide drawing for the generator during spring customer appreciation events in April to celebrate returning patronage to member-borrowers. Mark Bray, Chairman of the Carolina Farm Credit board said, "This is the 26th consecutive year we've paid a patronage refund. Since 1988, Carolina Farm Credit has declared patronage totaling more than $403 million paid to its member-borrowers through patronage refunds and retirements of allocated surplus. We're pleased to be able to share our success with our borrowers by putting our profits in their pockets.”

Carolina Farm Credit is a stockholder-owned cooperative providing financing to full and part-time farmers and agricultural-related businesses and also provides financing for the construction and purchase of homes in 54 counties through 36 branch offices.
