Find YOUR TOWN... Before you find YOUR HOME.

"What makes our sites doubly valuable and highly consumer-credible is how each site both showcases one town in particular but also provides advice on how consumers can more strategically evaluate any and all towns"

Rumson NJ (PRWEB) July 14, 2014

Allan Dalton, co-founder of Town Advisor and former CEO of Realtor.com, announced today the launch of TownAdvisor.com. TownAdvisor.com will begin as a network of individual town and city-specific sites, each accessible through a location-based TownAdvisor.com URL; local sites will eventually link to and from the TownAdvisor.com general site. Each local town/city local site will display relevant and actionable content derived from three sources: company-originated, consumer-generated, and public-domain produced.

TownAdvisor.com local sites will be hosted by local members of the Real Estate Town Advocates Network. Such members will be selected based upon their level of community involvement as either Real Estate companies/professionals or other community-invested business leaders.

Dalton believes, "...that it is long overdue that towns and cities be more fulsomely marketed on the web in order for consumers to arrive at decisions that are in their best interests when selecting where to move. While the web is remarkably effective and efficient in providing property-specific information, the level of appropriately contextualized content pertaining to the selection of the right location is stunningly lacking. This is precisely why TownAdvisor.com has been created."

Larry Vecchio, co-founder of Town Advisor, enthused, "What makes our sites doubly valuable and highly consumer-credible is how each site both showcases one town in particular but also provides advice on how consumers can more strategically evaluate any and all towns they may be considering throughout North America."

Dalton concluded, "Just as consumers, in impressive numbers, turn to Trip Advisor regarding hotels and Home Advisor for home improvement, we believe they will also increasingly visit TownAdvisor.com before selecting their next town or city."
