Colorado based Pikes Peak Energy, LLC is looking to continue its recent success in drilling oil wells in Oklahoma by participating in a 57 well project in Nowata County, Oklahoma. Pikes Peak Energy has acquired working interest in 26 existing wells, a water supply well and five injection wells in Nowata County, Oklahoma. The focus of the well production is in the prolific Bartlesville Formation of Oklahoma.

Utilizing secondary recovery techniques, Pikes Peak Energy will participate in the drilling of an additional 25 wells, five of which are anticipated to be water injection wells to enhance the secondary oil recovery. Pikes Peak Energy plans to further enhance oil recovery with its Chappell 57 project by using Carbon Dioxide injection (known as CO₂EOR). “Pikes Peak Energy wants to build a portfolio of consistent oil production and I believe this project will build upon the foundation that we have laid,” said Donnie Wisenbaker, CEO of Pikes Peak Energy. Pikes Peak Energy is now funding the Chappell 57, L.P to participate in this project.
