We take orders a year in advance and look forward to creating memories for many fans at this year’s MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby.

New Jersey based ticket broker is now in what they call the home stretch heading towards the 2014 MLB All Star Game and Home Run Derby, as described by Tara Rau their Vice President of Acquisition and Risk Management, referring to the most active time before a major event. “This is when all the buying and selling takes place,” says Rau. “We take orders a year in advance and look forward to creating memories for many fans at this year’s MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby.” These events are set to take place on July 15 and 16 at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This marks only the third time in history that the MLB All-Star Game festivities have been held in Minnesota. Metropolitan Stadium hosted in 1965 and the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome played host in 1985. It has been nearly 30 years since Minnesota has seen the MLB All Stars.

The MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby mark the only time all season that a baseball fan gets the chance to see all the greatest players in the game showing off their skills in one location and for one price.

Since it is such a rare occurrence for these events to come to Minnesota, ticket demand is highest in the surrounding area. In recent years the MLB has a tendency for giving fairly new stadiums the opportunity to host the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby. They will most likely not come back to Minnesota for quite a while. Fans interested in attending are urged to act now when it is so easy to obtain tickets or risk waiting another 20 or 30 years to see these amazing events come back to Minnesota again.

The 2014 MLB All-Star Game will also likely mark the last appearance of Derek Jeter at the prestigious event. Derek Jeter is one of the greatest baseball players of this generation, so either via fan voting or being named to the team, he is almost certainly going to be part of the All Star Game. His final All Star appearance is guaranteed to be a historic moment that no baseball fan is going to want to miss as he is well-respected by fans and players far and wide.

“These events are tied together and are unique in that they only happen once a year and they move from city to city. It has been 29 years since Minnesota has seen an All Star Game and it could be another 29 before it returns. Fans recognize this and are taking advantage of this infrequent opportunity,” says Rau.
