Two years ago, 22-year-old University of Toronto student Shabnam Olga Nasimi started selling porcelain dolls from her 600 square feet apartment in Downtown Toronto. Armed with no prior business experience, Philosophy and Bioethics major Shabnam learned about the business world quickly and began to create a website to sell her porcelain dolls to people all over the world.
Two years later, The House of Porcelain Dolls online store is generating generous sales from customers all around the world.
The House of Porcelain Dolls offers porcelain dolls in four sizes: 16 inches, 20 inches, 24 inches and 36 inches. These handmade ceramic porcelain dolls come in different styles and colors. The porcelain dolls stand tall on a brown wooden stand.
Now based in Vancouver, The House of Porcelain plans to expand in the future by the opening of a physical store to complement its existing online store.
