When Opus Research convenes the Intelligent Assistants Conference (IAC-SF) on September 16, 2014, it will also host a ceremony honoring the first-of-its-kind Intelligent Assistants Awards (IAAs). The IAAs recognizes the most innovative Intelligent Assistant applications for mobile and enterprise customer care and self-service.
“Automated Intelligent Assistants are already hard at work doing customer support, sales and marketing for the likes of Coca-Cola, U.S. Army, Hyatt Hotels, Stanford University and dozens of other brands in retailing, healthcare, utilities, education and hospitality,” explains Dan Miller, Founder of Opus Research and Conference Chair. “The IAAs are designed to recognize real-world implementations that are the pinnacle of real-time natural language understanding, knowledge management, machine learning and conversational technologies.”
The IAAs are a showcase for user interface design, natural language processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data and analytics.
The criteria to be considered include: Quality of user interface (natural, personal, conversational); Efficiency of assistance (“knowledge-ability”); Consistency across media (Web and mobile); Speed (time to resolve an issue or get question answered); Accuracy; Tangible differences/differentiators.
Qualified candidates are encouraged to download the entry form on the Intelligent Assistants Conference website (http://www.iaconference.net) found in the "Awards Submissions" tab. The deadline for entries is August 30, 2014. Winners will be announced at a special Intelligent Assistant Awards ceremony at the Intelligent Assistants Conference, September 16 in San Francisco.
