The DoubleTree by Hilton San Francisco Airport North hotel has appointed Tristan Sheldon as Executive Sous Chef. A graduate of the California Culinary Academy, Chef Tristan brings with him many years of experience, most recently with the Crowne Plaza Hotel brand.
A California native, Chef Tristan has held a variety of roles, from line cook to kitchen manager and sous chef. Prior to accepting his new role as Executive Sous Chef, Tristan worked with Lake Merced Golf Club, Google, Nordstrom Bistro Café, Little Store Restaurant, and Café Nightingale.
In his new role, Chef Tristan will be tasked with overseeing all culinary activities for the DoubleTree SFO North hotel, including the on-site restaurant, Xebec. Chef will focus on menu development for both banquets and the restaurant, delivering outstanding food quality, overseeing the kitchen team and ultimately delivering an outstanding guest experience.
