X-TECH Games Re-Launches Android Mobile Games, Adding Motion Control with Extreme Reality Motion SDK
Herzalia, Israel (PRWEB) July 04, 2014 -- Extreme Reality, the only company to bring full-body 3D motion controlled gaming to any device via a standard 2D camera, together with X-TECH Games, are proud to announce the launch of Snowball Effect Motion Control to the Google Play store. The game was originally developed with only touch and tilt functions. Snowball Effect Motion Control won first place in Extreme Reality's Android Challenge, by “motionizing” (adding motion experience) their game by incorporating the Extreme Motion Android SDK.
Powered by Extreme Reality’s Extreme Motion technology, Snowball Effect Motion Control unchains the user from holding the device. It enables any mobile device to turn into a motion console, while utilizing only the device's front-facing camera.
Snowball Effect is a runner game by X-TECH Games , but instead of an avatar, players control a rolling snowball with the motion of their body - the player needs to keep the ball rolling while avoiding obstacles (such as rocks and trees) and collect coins. Along the way, the snowball becomes bigger and bigger, not to mention heavier and thus more difficult to control. The goal is to accumulate as large of a snowball as possible.
Since its launch on March 2014 as a touch only game, Snowball Effect had close to 10,000 downloads. In the new version the user will be able to choose whether to play by touch, tilt or body control modes.
"We are thrilled to give our players an additional playing experience in cooperation with Extreme Reality," says Arman Atoyan, CEO and Founder of X-TECH Games. "We always try to give our audience a thrilling game experience."
Snowball Effect Motion Control is a free game, available on Google Play and Amazon Appstore.
