On July 8, 2014, Traction TV is pleased to announce the launch of the http://www.shredderorpheus.com website in support of a special celebration scheduled for Halloween, October 31, 2014 at Seattle’s On the Boards at 9 pm. The Halloween screening marks the 25th anniversary of the skateboard sci-fi mythology film’s original world premiere in Seattle, WA Halloween eve of 1989.

The Shredder Orpheus website features an archive of production photos, video and music clips, press, cast and crew participants, history and a blog commentary written by Orpheus Hellenbach and other characters from the film on the current state of media and its effects on human affairs.

The made-in-Seattle film featuring actors, artists and musicians from the era will make its come back screening Halloween night, October 31, 2014 at Seattle’s On the Boards at 9 pm. In 1989, the film opened to sold out shows Halloween night at the Neptune Theater and ran for six months as a Friday midnighter. The film resurfaced last year in New York at the BAM SKATE BOARDING IS NOT A CRIME film festival as the closing night film.

The screening promises to be a celebration of all the artists involved with a special memorial nod to Seattle’s underground poet laureate, Stephen Jesse Bernstein.
