Our clients can rest assured that their data is strictly monitored for controls, accuracy, security, confidentiality and all of SSAE’s set of standards by the most effective, efficient and accurate methods available on the market today.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 10, 2014
The DDC Group, a worldwide business process outsourcing (BPO) solution provider, announced it has been awarded the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16 Type II auditing standard accreditation, administered by leading accounting firm Goldman & Company. It is by these standards that DDC maintains its position as a pioneer in the global financial and accounting outsourcing (FAO) sector.
The SSAE 16 Type II audit is a national regulatory examination used for reviewing service organization control processes, granted in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) attestation standards. A replacement of the original SAS 70 assessment, this audit is on par with the international compliance protocol.
“This certification confirms that our company’s controls and processes are operating at the best possible levels,” said The DDC Group’s VP of Operations, Tammie Schell. “During the audit, we were able to pin-point key opportunity areas to enhance our service offering to protect our clients through future market fluctuations and economic uncertainties.”
DDC maintains compliance with the highest accounting standards to safeguard the effectiveness of its control activities and representation of services for some of the world’s most complex, high security back offices, as part of its integral model.
The control objectives evaluated extensively regarding the management of end-to-end processes in areas of finance and accounting include, electronic invoice administration, transactional data analysis, and risk assessment of related business processes.
The audits performed though SSAE 16 generate an in-depth assessment of operations, not only so The DDC Group remains competitive in the global market through performance improvements and risk management, but most importantly, so it can guard its clientele against potential security leaks, lost sales and damaged data.
“Our clients can rest assured that their data is strictly monitored for controls, accuracy, security, confidentiality and all of SSAE’s set of standards by the most effective, efficient and accurate methods available on the market today,” Schell explained.
