Gainesville, FL (PRWEB) July 15, 2014

Entevia, LLC is proud to announce its new product, Vidiux.com (https://www.vidiux.com). Vidiux is an online video rental store that brings an alternative to Netflix and Red Box, for DVD and Blu-ray lovers who don't want to make lines at video rental kiosks or wait for new releases to be available.

"There's a market segment of customers who always prefer the physical disk over streaming," according to Dr. Javier A. Arroyo-Figueroa, Chief Executive Manager of Entevia. "The disadvantages of video streaming are well-known: latency, degraded video quality, lack of features like multiple languages and closed captioning. Also, major players like Netflix and RedBox are sacrificing the rapid availability of new releases in favor of streaming. Since Vidiux does not provide streaming, we have no strings attached for providing new releases as soon as they are available."

"And there goes the rental kiosks," Dr. Arroyo-Figueroa continues. "I've seen lines of ten people waiting for the kiosk to be available, just for returning a movie. Or others want to rent a movie, but have to wait for others to end their kiosk transaction. It might be really frustrating."

New customers pay only 29 cents for their first movie rental. Movies are rented by the week, so there is a little risk of paying late fees. Contrary to Netflix, there are no monthly membership fees, so the low cost of $2.99 per week pays off for customers that don't rent more than 2 movies per month.
