Land O'Lakes, FL (PRWEB) July 16, 2014
Pasco County’s Connerton community treated 700 residents, friends and neighbors to an extended holiday celebration with a July Fifth Big Event, an old-fashioned neighborhood party in its new town community. From 5 till 9 p.m., guests enjoyed live music by the popular band Cold Iron, typical summer fare from food trucks Health Freakz, Inside Scoop, American Wiener, Lizzie Cakes and BB’s Moving Café, and prize-laden children’s games. The event culminated in 30 minutes of sensational fireworks. It was open to the public and admission was free.
Activities for children included a climbing wall, slides, bounce houses and “Build-a-Buddy” where they created their own stuffed animals. Miss Sparkles, the balloon lady, was on hand to create hats and bracelets for all to wear in the popular photo booth.
Event sponsors included Verizon, Ierna Heating and Cooling, Tampa Bay Times and Creative World School whose booths provided information and give-aways to attendees. Additional sponsorship was provided by Homes by WestBay, Red Rock Mortgage, and Copperstone Suites.
Connerton is Pasco County’s award-winning New Town, located on US41 in Land O’Lakes in the Northern Tampa Bay Area market. The community features nearly two miles of nature trails, a 10,000 square-foot clubhouse and miles of beautiful winding roads and walkways, all of which are thoughtfully laid out to preserve the wild wetlands and grassy expanses of the original Conner Ranch.
