Bright Horizons Crouch End nursery officially opens
(PRWEB UK) 17 July 2014 -- Bright Horizons Crouch End nursery held their official opening on Saturday in a ribbon cutting event.
The ribbon was cut by staff and children at the brand new 79 place nursery and preschool. During the event, which was attended by local families, children took part in a fun themed Spanish lesson and had lots of fun with Captain Fantastic.
The new nursery is located in a beautifully refurbished period property in the heart of Crouch End, making it ideal for parents commuting into the city with easy access to Crouch Hill overground station. The nursery features a variety of age specific rooms, with the addition of a specially designed Science Kitchen, which will enable children to experience the whole process of cooking from weighing and mixing, to watching food rise and change colour. The nursery also features an extensive outdoor space, which boasts two outdoor areas; one specifically for babies and the other for over 2’s and preschool aged children, which is complete with a beach, look-out tower and allotment.
Bright Horizons Crouch End is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm, 52 weeks of the year, excluding Bank Holidays. Fees are fully inclusive, which means the nursery provides all meals, nappies, wipes and formula milk for the babies and children in their care. They have an on-site cook and menus which are created by a nutritionist to provide a healthy and balanced diet. The nursery is managed by Paul Spinks, who is supported by an experienced team.
Paul Spinks, Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons Crouch End, said, “The nursery has been a dream come true for both my team and myself, and what has made it even more exciting for us has been the phenomenal response from the wonderful families of Crouch End. Our aim at the nursery is to provide the children in the community with a safe and secure environment whilst having the opportunity to have fun, grow, develop and learn along their learning journey. We actively encourage our families to be involved in the nursery, from attending family events to participating in cooking activities in our Science Kitchen. At Crouch End, we understand and celebrate the fact that families are an integral part of our nursery I look forward to supporting families with their childcare needs.”
