Known for their glamorous evening dresses, Jovani Fashions is taking their talents one step further with the recent release of their newest collection, MASLAVI. The contemporary line includes an assortment of modern and on-trend styles that bring the Jovani taste and sensibility to women’s everyday lives.
The MASLAVI collection is a reflection of Jovani’s future while staying rooted in the designer dress company’s 35-year history. Established in 1979 by Jacob Maslavi, Jovani has continued to expand and develop into a company that does not just make dresses for one type of woman, but for every woman. With MASLAVI, Jacob’s sons, Saul and Abraham, plan to bring Jovani’s signature touch to the ready-to-wear market.
“We named the line after our father,” said co-owner and Vice President, Abraham Maslavi. “He was an image of elegance, an image of generosity; a true visionary. MASLAVI is a reflection of him and his vision.”
Although the new line is a departure from Jovani’s signature evening gowns that feature intricate beading and lace detailing, it reworks the evening wear brands signature style into edgy and sophisticated pieces perfect for the modern woman.
The collection features 60 pieces right on trend for Fall 2014. While Jacob maslavi envisioned an apparel market filled with glamorous dresses for every woman for any occasion, his legacy continues with Jovani’s newest project, Maslavi.
